Visitors to the European Union can visit a number of European countries
and use just one currency: the Euro (€).
At present, the Euro is the legal tender in the following EU member
states:
- Austria
- Belgium
- Finland
- France
- Germany
- Greece
- Italy
- Ireland
- Luxembourg
- Netherlands
- Portugal
- Spain
Additional European countries are expected to adopt the Euro in the
coming years.
