Visitors to Berlin can learn much about the turbulent period
from 1930 to 1990, a period of extreme nationalism, militarism,
totalitarianism and tension.
One of the few remaining buildings from the Nazi era is the
Olympic Stadium which was built for the 1933 Olympics. Visitors to Berlin
can catch a U-bahn (metro) to visit this historical site.
